Ancient Mysteries/ Common Knowledge or Parables?
The Random House .Webster’s LARGE PRINT Dictionary (WLPD) 1995 New York , 20th edition page143 defines “Common”; adj, 1. shared by all,
2,ordinary: usual, 3. VULGAR.
VULGAR? WLPD page835 adj:1. lacking good breading or taste, unrefined? 2. indecent: obscene? 3. vernacacular page 825 , everyday speech.
“THEY” (the self-appointed leaders of the government, finance, education, the media and religion, whom I will hence forth call them “The
Unwashed” Revelation 1:5,) refer to those not in their class, as the Common man. The knowledge we are given to be students of is Common knowledge.
However the Un-common man has been told to “study to show yourself approved” and “to understand Parables.”
Blind Homer in his Iliad explained Parables this way: The Trojans saw the out side of the Horse (Parable) and were Impressed with its out side! The
Greeks knew what was inside the horse (parable):which was the men that who would open the gate!!!!
There were only two people; in Troy to speak out against the horse, Laocoon and Cassandra, however they were ignored. The Trojans celebrated what
they thought was their victory, and dragged the wooden horse into Troy.
That night, after most of Troy was asleep or in a drunken stupor, the Greek warriors came out from the horse, and they slaughtered the Trojans.
My favorite Hebrew scholar (JAH) spoke of parables in this way translated from the Coptic ( Egyptian language written with Greek symbols) Pe#ta from
Matti chapter 13
There are four types of reactions when a parable is given or discovered’
1 Rejection out of hand “Because that is not the way the common man understands the concept.” So it must be wrong!!!!!
2. A man finds the Parable interesting , however his (so called) teachers ridicule him. So because he feels that they are wise that he, the man stops
his research of the parable in favor of other people wisdom.
3. This man studies the parable also finding it interesting and can see how that the information is true. However feel that if he proclaims that
revealed knowledge, his friends , co-workers, and his teachers will reject him and shun him. He therefore places that knowledge on a shelf and stay
with the Commonly held belief.
4. Then there is un-common which is a very very small percentage of the people. This man sees the wisdom of the parable and turns to his advantage.
However he must accept rejection by all but a very very few.
The Ancients from all cultures knew the principle behind the parable concept. Which was the perfect way to keep their secrets from the Common man and
their enemies. They knew just as the media of today knows that sex and violence sell and that type of stories last through the centuries. However
technical journals and owner manuals are usually lost. That is why they used god concept to enhance the parable in story form.
Words are parables that give us the understandings of word concepts in all languages new and old , mostly though root words, prefixes, and suffixes.
These pieces of our language at one time were taught in most schools. This tool enabled students to unlock the meanings of word, independent of a
dictionary.
Today it is the Common or slang meanings that are used. An example is the word : “incredible” This word is Commonly believed to mean: beyond the
knowledge average man or above the ability of the typical man.
However using Jessica DeForest, of MSU definitions of root words prefixes and suffixes
