Taser qestions

With the recent events on police abusing their powers, i was wondering if there's a way to get around these tasers. I'm not sure exactly how they work, but shouldn't they have the same properties as electricity.

Here are my questions:
1. How exactly does tasers work? Do the electircity go back into the taser or ground?
2. If you were touching someone else while being tasered, will the other person feel it?
3. Is there anyone you can wear to prevent it from working? E.g. Plastic shoes.
4. Can you think of any other way of countering the taser?

I'm sure that the current passes back into the Taser and doesn't ground, so to nulify it you'd have to put something between u and the taser that doesn't conduct. With a taser in comparisson to a stun gun that would mean also wearing something that the barbs couldn't penetrate. I'm sure if the cops attempted to shock u and it didn't work they'd have to resort to something else anyway. Ure prob just better off doing what they say until u get taken in, then complain :p lol.
