So here goes, It was a weapons platform and the weapons were deployed, hence no radiation. The sickness was indeed gas poisoning from the residual liquid gas fuel.

It crashed because it was designed to drop into a low orbit for firing.
This also would explain the weight.

The water was interesting in the photo.
Wonder what was under it that they needed to truck it in and fill the hole with it for the photo shoot? Does every meteorite hole in the desert instantly fill with muddy water?

but the debris would be explained as the rubble of a natural 'cistern'
that was hit by a 1:100000000000 chance by a space object.

i don't have the time or temperment to research it...but in a thread that

Yikes?! but !! KH13 or anyother spy satellite is not designed to guide
missiles or to position targets, the spy satellites' purpose & mission is to collect data of a target/site/nation/region/etc...
the internal guidance systems of those ( 6 lost) cruise missiles will guide
them to targets ... not a spy satellite.....[[good try though]]

A team from Johnson Space Center in Houston analyzed two chunks of dark gray rock from the meteorite and told the meeting they look nothing like meteorites from known sources such as Mars.

At such high velocity, fragments may not escape past the "shock-wave" barrier accompanying the meteorite, he said.

"It became very streamlined and so it penetrated the Earth's atmosphere more efficiently," Schultz said. He compared it to a flock of geese drafting behind one another in V-shaped flight.

He said this could challenge conventional wisdom that all small, stony meteorites disintegrate before striking Earth.
"You just wonder how many other lakes and ponds were created by a stony meteorite, but we just don't know about them because when these things hit the surface they just completely pulverize and then they weather," said Schultz.
