Iran draws up plans to bomb Israel

apnews.myway.com

TEHRAN,Iran (AP) - The deputy commander of Iran's air force said Wednesday that plans have been drawn up to bomb Israel if the Jewish state attacks Iran, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.

The announcement comes amid rising tensions in the region with the United States calling for a new round of U.N. sanctions against Iran over its disputed nuclear program and Israeli planes having recently overflown, and perhaps even attacked, Iranian ally Syria's territory.

Looks like things are moving rather quickly in the hot bed known as the Middle East. I feel something could happen before October 15th. Not sure why, just a gut feeling.

Well remember that Israel has had "the Samson Option" for decades,so this really goes both ways, although its obviously more fashionable for the Media to focus on Iran at the moment...

"In addition to the "Samson Option" of last resort, other triggers for nuclear weapons use may include:[1]

* Successful Arab or Iranian penetration of populated areas
* Destruction of the Israeli Air Force
* Massive air strikes or chemical/biological strikes on Israeli cities
* Arab or Iranian use of nuclear weapons

In short, due to Israel's concentrated population and strategic vulnerability, a violation of any of the above could be seen as an imminent threat to the continued existence of the state, thereby triggering an Israeli nuclear response.

It is widely believed, but not confirmed, that Israel will target a number of Arab countries and/or enemy countries to Israel if weapons of mass destruction were used on Israeli soil (and not just the single country suspected of sponsoring such an attack). There is much speculation on different types of targets and under what circumstances would be involved in such an attack."

Hopefully the Israeli's bluff gets called

Do they have the balls or not ??

Are a massive minority on the planet prepared to exert power way beyond their means like they did post WWI and WW2 ?

And to call the rest of the world's bluff ?

I don't think so...

Because at the end of the day, Russia and China would gladly step in with nuclear weapons if the Israeli's started stuff...

Thank god for them

Without them, the OWO/NWO would be inacted in my lifetime...With China and Russia being best mates, not likely...

If Israel wants to fulfill certain bits of the bible, and blow its people to the four winds AGAIN...Go for it, I say...

Let's just say, other nations apart from the obvious ONE aren't going to be as willing to take in displaced peoples this time round...

Especially if these displaced Israeli's have been a result of a pre-emptive Israeli nuclear strike..

Put it this way, "the chosen people" seem to be on borrowed time to me...Unless they embrace the peoples around them and honestly and openly work towards peace with their neighbors...

I mean...They've had 60 yrs...Surely that's plenty long enough to forge peace with the people around you...

The Israeli's have done nothing but embraced an expansionist mode since the '67 wars which has continued unabated to this day...

And they wonder why the Arab world largely detest them and want them gone ?

Frankly...For peace to happen in the middle east...The first olive branch has to come from Israel...And going on what was announced this week, this isn't going to happen...

Which is so very sad for hundred of thousands of Palestinians...

But like the rest of the world gives a toss about them, right ?? I do, but due to stupid laws in my country and any other country aligned with Israel, I can't direct;y donate my coin to them..

Nice job world

i have to agree with you,in my opinion i dont think they have the gutts to do any real damage to anyone,U.S. is their backbone and only because of us do thet have the weapons to do anything...

but you can bet if they did something to piss the U.S. off... and didnt have our support like they do...they would curl up in their little corner of the world and play nice with all who is around them.

you could bet on that.

I hear you Rilence, damn good points, violence breeds violence indeed.
When you consider the amount of international law violations by Israel it sure make you wonder why they get away with the exact same thing the arabs are demonised and attacked for...
I think, having noticed a pattern over the last 30 odd years, that the Israeli governments like to keep conflicts going so that they can say "we are at war-we cannot be expected to adhere to international law it a time of war."
Very convenient,no?

Damn shame, especially since most of the people I have met from Israel detest the way their government treats its neighbors.
