OH boy, its gonna be an interesting day tomorrow-
Ramsey is leading the charge for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney.
Wow, what a week it's been.

www.impeachbush.org...

You can be one in a million demanding the impeachment of the Bush/Cheney cabal if you act fast. More than 929,000 patriots have voted to Impeach at ImpeachBush.org and more are pouring in by the hour. There are only six weeks left before the major Peace and Impeachment rally on September 15, 2007 in Washington. We intend to reach the first Million by then.

The following three months, September 15 to December 15, 2007 will probably determine whether Bush escapes the judgment of the American people during his Presidency.

We can be sure Bush will not back down. Any hint of recognition by him of the enormity of his crimes, the failure of his criminal enterprise, the unbearable human suffering he has wreaked and the hatred and shame he has brought to our country, would shatter his heroic sense of himself. Unfeeling, uncaring, unwilling to listen, he will carry on, whatever the cost to others, assured in the safe, privileged, protected shell he has always lived in. He will insist war is peace, dictatorship is democracy, tyranny is freedom, theft is gift, worse is better. He will abuse all the power of the Presidency, the press, false propaganda and political spin to have his way. And he will increase death and destruction in Iraq and Afghanistan and spread his war to Pakistan and Iran in the face of mounting hostility everywhere. His usurpation and abuse of power, criminal conduct and refusal to face the facts are his responsibility.

At this late date, after all that Congress has seen of the crimes, corruption and tragic consequences of the Bush Presidency and the little to next to nothing it has done, there is scant reason to believe Congress without huge pressure from the people will find the will to act to impeach and prevent further crimes. It has possessed the power all along to pass laws to stop the criminal course on which the Bush Administration has set the nation. Congress had the constitutional duty from the first High Crime committed by the Bush Administration to proceed to impeachment in the House and trial in the Senate. It has failed to act, or show any promise that it might. This derogation of duty is its responsibility.

The American people have lived through this tragedy for 6 years, in the main, submissively. We will act in these next six months, or George W. Bush will escape the judgment of the American people during eight years of unrelenting ruination of every principle this nation has proclaimed. His successors will assume they can do the same and may. Guiliani has said "the challenge we face is Islamic terrorism." Peoples and nations around the world will have to believe Americans are powerless, don’t care, or worse, condone and approve the violence, suffering, corruption and lies the Bush Administration has inflicted with impunity.

Finally, it is clear that We, the People of the United States, are the only force that can bring Bush, Cheney and their cohorts to account for bleeding Iraq, flaming Afghanistan, the American surge spreading more death, millions fleeing their homeland, arming other countries to the teeth, all brought about by the Bush Administration through falsely stimulated fear and lies to achieve domination and exploit the resources of the region.

Ahhhhh--------- I now read the rules of engagement here for current events and see that I should have added my "conspiracy" thoughts to this post.
The reason this is so interesting to me is because this march is just one day after SEPT. 14 but before Sept. 21 ( when those stock options are up?)
and we have a missing nuke ( maybe?) and welllll............
this march is certainly going to add to the fire and what do you bet there will be LITTLE coverage for this big event.
I just have a feeling something ugly might happen.

I am gonna come out and try to make a prediction.

This march is probably going to end when the police feel they should break it up. I hope it does not, but other marches whether it is against war or a peace rally got broken up, why would they not break this one up?

There appeared to be alot of people there.
150 of them got arrested.

(YahooNews)-WASHINGTON - Thousands of protesters marched Saturday from the White House to the Capitol to demand an end to the Iraq war, leading to the arrests of at least 150 people.
Many of the protesters were arrested without a struggle after they jumped over a barricade near the base of the Capitol. But some grew angry as police attempted to push them back using large black shields and a chemical spray. Protesters responded by throwing signs and chanting: "Shame on you."

Shame on the protesters.

What a waste of valuable natural resources.

If it weren't for America, these idiots would be begging on the streets of in some Islamic totalitarian state.

I just don't get it. Congress impeaches Clinton for lying under oath, yet they let Bush violate several of our rights granted by the Constitution and stay in power.

WTF is goin' on here?!?

That march is being led by former soldiers, their families and former government employees, among others.
The media has made this out to look like these protestors don't support our troops. Thats the exact OPPOSITE- THE PROTESTORS ARE OUR TROOPS.
They are making this out to be another vietnam deal- and it's far from it. The protesters are behind our troops- they are not BEHIND BUSH/CHENEY.
AND YOU'LL NOTICE THAT the media has made this out to be an anti-war demonstration only when in fact it is about IMPEACHING BUSH also.
But do you think the media will be allowed to present that?
Of course not!!!!!!!!!
These protestors have also been fined for putting up signs to promote this event, arrested for putting up a folding table when having a meeting about the march, and now you see "counter" protestors to protest the protestors and make them look like a bunch of traitors.
Don't you see what's going on here?
Everything is being done to squelch these people, and our freedom of speech is being violated.!

Actually my question is what are Bush's actual crimes? I have yet to hear one credible crime and no evidence to support it. Should we impeach because we have been brainwashed by the constant, Bush is evil drone coming from the media? I can't believe how brainwashed people are. If Bush's laws violate the constitution then it can be challenged in court and thrown out. It is not an impeachable offense to make bad laws or to have a differing opinion on constitutional law. You may not like Bush (and few do these days), but that is not an impeachable offense and does not constitute high crimes and misdemeanors.

Now I'm not even a Bush supporter and did not vote for him in 2004, but any idiot can see a world of difference between Bush and Clinton. Clinton was impeached on a technicality, lying under oath. They didn't dare impeach him on his real crimes. He was awash in some very serious scandals. He evidently sold ballistic missile secrets to China for campaign cash, molested a woman in the white house (against her will), and left a suspicious trail of dead bodies of former 'associates' and seemed to have no problem pardoning drug dealers and various crime Lords. Clinton was about the dirtiest president we've seen so far, even worse than tricky Dick Nixon.

If you google treason and Bush you'll find alot of information about what crimes he is being accused of , and by whom.
I would say the most serious possible crime that he could be accused of and possibly convicted of is a possible cover up of 911, and we won't know the real deal on that until it's re-investigated.

I did as you suggested and the best thing I could find was some very circumstantial evidence that claims Bush helped orchestrate 911. The supposed evidence is that he claimed he saw the first plane strike the building on TV when the actual video was of the second plane. There is a perfectly good reason for that, "never underestimate government incompetence". Bush was confused, and believe me it wasn't the first time, nor the last. There is simply no smoking gun here and not nearly enough evidence for impeachment, no matter how much you might hate the guy. I want to at least hear some eyewitness testimony about Bush's involvement in the planning or the execution of a 911 inside job before we talk about Bush's impeachment.

My guess is that if it were an inside job, it's being orchestrated by black op.s factions that are way above Bush's pay grade. In that case Bush is at best an ignorant patsy and at worst following orders to a plan that he understands only a very little of. In the same line of thinking I do not doubt that Bush sincerely believes that attacking Iraq was the best thing he could do to prosecute the war on terror, however myopic that was.

I will say this, however, if Bush attacks Iran without a congressional declaration of war on Iran, then I would support impeachment. That would definately be an act of treason, directly disobeying the U.S. constitution and putting the whole nation at risk. In the Iraq case, he had congressional approval for that move unfortunately.

With all the speculation of a 911 cover-up I am sure at some point there will be a re-investigation. By that time Bush will have probably left office( unless we are in martial law by then because of God knows what)
I'm not even sure of how much Bush has to even do with all of this, I hear that Cheney is the main guy orchestrating alot of what happens so who knows? Eventually the truth or part of it may come out. I know one thing, there are just way too many inconsistencies about 911 that just don't ring true, and alot of people are questioning what really happened, why and by whom.
