US Gen. Says that missle strike was from Iran missle

www.foxnews.com

BAGHDAD — A fatal attack launched two days ago against the sprawling headquarters base of the American military in Iraq was carried out with a 240 mm rocket — a type of weapon provided to Shiite extremists by Iran, a U.S. general said Thursday.

Such an attack with a sophisticated weapon against a nearly impregnable compound — far less vulnerable than the Green Zone in the heart of the capital — sends a strong message to the Americans that nowhere in Iraq are they safe, even in the nerve center of the U.S. mission.

I say bring it on Iran...your time is near...what you say??

Bring it on, Iran ...

I say, hell no. We don't have enough troops to be in Iraq. Would you like to see the draft re-instituted, perhaps be a victim of it yourself?

Or it could be a nuclear war which will set the planet back into the dark ages.

and you do realize if we attack iran bomb it that we dont have the man power to secure there loose weapons before the terrorists can take them it would be a horrible turn of events and terrorists not a country would propably end up with there medium range missiles they would be much more keen to attack isreal than iran is it wouldnt be good for anyone to attack iran

funny how it seems that we (U.S.) is looking for anything to point out that iran is apart of the mess we created,i think it's all hogwash. Bush & Co. will lo0k for any reason to enter iran...even if they have to fabricate it.

just my opinion.

If America does not leave voluntarily, they will be forced out involuntarily...better to leave on our own terms and avoid total humiliation.

I say don't take everything you read in the state controlled media as truth, especially faux.
Think logically, or better yet think like the government does...Government wants to go to war with Iran, population not happy with this plan, government needs excuse to change the mind of the population, oh yeah let's say Iran attacked us first...
Expect to see more of this.

Oldest tactic in the book....The explosion of The Main, sinking of The Lusitania, The Athenia, Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin, 9-11...A long history of lies and self inflicted wounds to make an excuse for war.

You should think before condemning a whole nation to death. They are not who you should be worried about...

But even if we attack, Iran will not die. Neither would we, but it would be a devastating humiliation...we couldn't win.

Hmmmm not really sure what you're getting at? But I don't consider anyone a winner in war. We all lose. The only winners are the oil companies, the arms dealers and those that get the 're-build' contracts. The very same people running our 'government'. Wonderful isn't it?

*IF* the U.S. invades Iran, it will be even more embarassed by the Iranian insurgency than it is currently being embarrassed by the Iraqi one.

I don't get the bs pr crap they keep spinning "pull out means we lost the war" umm hello we went into Iraq to oust the Saddam regime and his military (a threat to us or so they they say), we accomplished that goal, we WON

whats going on now is nothing more then a big boys version of a sore loser at Nintendo, I want a rematch lets keep playing till I win!

lets also forget the fact 45% of the enemy we are fighting are Saudi...
or the fact that the ones who do live there are trying to get rid of an INVADER, i mean would you guys do if chine rolled into LA? started telling you whats right and wrong, just set there and take it?

a ruined country isn't a threat to us, goodbye crap hole lets go home.

BINGO! problem is most people don't want to see this, for some reason, cough fox news cough.. they seem to believe that pointing out the wrong committed by a corrupt government, and private corporations for personal gains, is somehow anti american or un patriotic... I used to be one of these people....

People this stuff going on is wrong, this isn't to justify the be headers so don't even play that card, but the fact is we were lied to, and this government is operating outside its legal constitutional powers, it sold us out a long time ago.

MONEY AND POWER are the only thing driving this war thats it PERIOD.

our foreign policy proves this.

Iran isn't a threat because its a nuclear state, in the sense of our safety or the safety of the ME, its threat because Iran threatens the U.S stake on the OIL...

I think the reason that Fox News does not want to see this because it would be very unprofitable for them to tell the truth...

OK but what did all that have that to do with my post?

Personally I think if the US attacks Iran they'll have far more than Iranian insurgents to deal with.

Edit; OK never mind just re-read my original post, you're referring to the 'condemning a country to death' bit. Well I wasn't being literal, just adding a little drama I guess...
They'll be lots of death on both sides regardless of who declares themselves the victor.

Iran should be the worlds largest "glass factory". We can mine the glass in 50,000 years when the radiation begins to calm down.
