Bagdad, 12 sep (EFE).- Hombres armados vestidos con uniformes policiales robaron hoy en Bagdad 300 millones de dinares iraquíes (55 millones de dólares), que funcionarios del ministerio iraquí de Finanzas transportaban en un vehículo.

Según fuentes de la seguridad iraquí, los atracadores interceptaron el vehículo en el barrio de Waziriya, en el centro de Bagdad y se hicieron con el botín a punta de pistola.

Translated it says...Armed men dressed a Iraqi police stole today 300 million dinari, approximatley 55 million dollars U.S., that guards from the government finance ministry where transporting. According to Iraqi sources the attackers intercepted the van in the Waziriya district of Baghdad at pistol point, it was to pay university workers and there were no victims....

Who knew of the route..?
Who knew it was money..?
Someones passing information..and thats not free.
Its probably real Iraqi police and not fake..who can tell the diffrence today..wages being what they are etc....

Now THAT had crossed my mind...5 o 6 of them with fake rubber Saddam masks on..thats enough to fool anybody..Or maybe they didnt want the money..they just robbed the van for the PETROL...the black markets not what it was...
