i am looking at iran on google earth..what are these?

they look like craters of sorts.....are they drom explosians or what?

i was just looking around at iran and thought it was interesting

They look like dropped ordinance from a plane that made those marks.

Or, shots from a navy boat.

Or, shots from artillery, slightly changing the range further or shorter for each shot.

But clearly they appear to be spots where munitions have hit.

PS: on second look/thought, they seem too nicely arranged to be explosion marks. I dont know wtf they are..

At a guees, judging by the shades it looks like they are on a ridge line, so i'd put em as bunkers of some sort...
