10,000 gallon gasoline explosion at Burning Man 2007?

I have caught wind of a rumor that 10,000 gallons of gasoline was set ablaze at last weeks Burning Man. The event was supposed to be "green man" and bring awareness to the environmental movement and supposededbly the gas fireball was a protest of the oil industry????

I found this... It does not confirm... but does say:

"1,000-foot column of flame, primed by 900 gallons of jet fuel and fed by 2,000 gallons of liquid propane."

The fuel was supplied by someone with an IN at NASA, JP7 and JP15 if I remember correctly. Not even the Military has access to the fuels they simply are too flammable.

Now, why the hell would someone set 10k worth of oil a blaze for a "green" cause? Hey, just release EVEN MORE co2 into atmosphere, good job.
