Hi guys, long time lurker here, first time poster. I saw another post the other day about somone on Youtube that claims he is a Area 51 employee. I
don't know anything about his claim or how legit he is, but it made me want to post this info and question.
First off, I am not an employee of area 51, but I do know a former employee, and would like to know how to procede with him.
I would like to stay anonomous for now as I don't want an repercussions (sp?) to come back on to this person. I actually don't think anything would
happen, but better safe than sorry. Plus, I will probably give enough clues that somone will figure out who I am and wehre I work anyway, you guys
are good like that.
I work for a fortune 500 company, in the research facility. There are probably over 1000 scientists that work here, I am not one of them. I am a
lowley Tech, that supports computers connected to lab equipment, robotic controls, image aquisition, etc... The department I work in is sort of like
IT, but seperate from the main IT department.
Enough about me. One of the fellas that works in another department used to work at Area 51, Groom Lake, Nellis, whatever you want to call it. I was
told this by another worker in his department. He is a middle aged fella, probably early 50s, and kind of strange. When I asked him myself about
this he just kind of nodded, and did not say much more. This is not a person that I know real well, or even see every day. This incident also
happened about a year ago, so details are fuzzy now, but it made me curious, of course I have always been curious about UFOs and such. I worked with
him over a couple of days to resolve some computer issues he had in his lab, during this time his coworker (who I know much better), would joke with
him about aliens, and how he realy was one and was part of the agenda. He just kind of shrugged it off with a laugh. He did not seem willing to talk
about much about what he did there or anything. He did tell some stories about other places/ and bases he had been, but they were vague. He did
mention that he went out to Las Vegas a couple of years ago, and took his son (around 16 at the time I think he said) for a drive by one of the dirt
entrance roads to the base, and he said his sonewas underwhelmed. It was almost like he was saying "if only he knew what was there."
A couple of conclusions I have made.
He is not a Dr. or scientist, although he is well educated and is a lab tech in his current job.
By his reactions, I don't think that he ever saw anything 'alien' there, then again he could be good at covering it up.
I don't think he was ever in a military branch, he just does not seem to be that type. He is a short, frail kind of goofy guy. So I think he must
have been a contractor of some sort.
It must have been years ago, maybe in the 80's that he worked there, as it seemed to be before his son.
Anone have any opinions on how to further apporach him on the subject, maybe get him to open up a little more? I don't know him real well, and just
don't want to come out and ask.
