Is really above top secret worth it?

For those of you that are qualified, is the monthly fee justified? Im pretty new here, and Im wondering how ambitious I should be. Any insight would be great, thanks.

It's worth it if you want to read and post threads that are not seen by search engines.
Also just to make clear, that "fee" is paid with ATS points not money.

I didnt know that, thought you had to have 5000 points, plus a monthly fee in dollars...thanks for clearing that up. How many points per month?

From what I hear, it's not worth it. But what do I know, I haven't been there myself.

It's worth it because you get you use your points. What else are they there for?

You know you want to get in there...that's where the real goodies are.

Wow, something in this world wide wurb that is earned rather than exchanged for bits of plastic! I might just die of shock.

250 points per month to stay a member

RATS, or 'Really Above...' might be worth it to you, but bear in mind that there's not much additional security, or opportunity to discuss material that's not publicly available; you still have to exercise discretion. It will prevent most 'bots' from being able to index the material to a search engine.

I would presume the signal to noise ratio is higher, but traffic is lower.
