Something that never ceases to amaze me around ATS is the sheer number of people who will jump into a thread just to say "Why is this thread even
here? This is so f'n stupid!"
Maybe it's just me, but when I happen to notice a thread that is "so f'n stupid" I tend to just pass it by.
Why do certain members feel the need to jump into a thread JUST to say how stupid the thread is? What does that accomplish?
If a thread is so stupid that you feel it shouldn't even be on the board, what does it say about YOU that you just can't seem to help jumping into
the thread to contribute your .02 worth.
Are you truly so self absorbed that you feel the burden to deem a thread unworthy of this forum rests on your shoulders?
Perhaps you feel you are doing the ATS community a service by personally placing your stamp of disapproval on the thread in question.
Hey, here's an idea......anytime you see a thread you feel is unworthy of you and your greatness, STAY THE HELL OFF OF IT!
Why would someone possessing even MINOR intelligence jump into a thread that they feel is so stupid it shouldn't even be on the forum make a
completely pointless post that simply bumps that stupid thread right back to the top of the page and to the attention of even MORE people?
You people remind me of the types that will piss and moan about the rubberneckers in front of you who are driving 10 mph past an accident only to pull
to a complete stop to get your eyeful when it's your turn to drive past.
If you truly feel a certain thread is so stupid that it shouldn't even be on the forum, do us all a favor and SKIP IT. That's what the rest of us
do.
But then again, most of us don't presume to believe that it is our duty give others' threads our personal stamp of approval in order for them to be
"worthy".
Get off your f'n high horse and start denying ignorance instead of embracing it like a long lost love.
