A field guide to UFOs

A comment/story that always fascinated me was regarding a room that a security guard in the Johnson Space Center had stumbled upon during a fire alert, which served as an ID center for UFOs encountered during Apollo.

True or not, a great story, and a great idea. So the idea here is to build a sort of field guide to UFOs, much like you'd use Roger Tory Peterson's "Field Guide to the Birds of North America" to ID that bird at the feeder.

So, who owns what, and where do the various types of UFOs come from?

Black triangles

classic saucers

upside-down pie-tin shaped

lozenges

cigars

chevrons

trash-can-shaped drones

bell-shaped craft

shape-shifters

orbs

etc...

Ours? Or theirs? And whose? And best case/proof?
