Lunar Eclipse?!

This may seem stupid, but was their a lunar eclipse a couple days ago? I was out on my route and the moon started out so bright and big, then some cloud coverage, but to me it didn't look like cloud coverage... and over the span of the night it turned pitch dark out and the moon completly disaperaed. I found it amazing to watch... plus the animals that night were acting wierder than normal.

Yeah there was an eclipse the other day. A rather remarkable one, too, especially on the west coast. There were a number of threads covering it. Here's one of em. Some members took killer photos.
