Do you believe that there will be another type of economic depression

Does anyone think there may be another economic depression in the next few years. I'm starting the think it is headed our way. Gas prices steadily on the rise which in turn raises prices on everything. The grocery stores have to pay more to have things delivered which goes back to the distributor who has to pay more, and so on and so forth. The housing market is terrible these days. What is next. The price of bread goes to $4 a loaf and milk is $9 a gallon. Let me know your thoughts.
