1st civilian resistance army!!!!!!

This is all very interesting guys, i like the ideas on what to do and what not to do. I think people would make a stand for whats right if anything like this did go down. Yea, alot of people listen to the mainstream media, but we arent dumb neither. Ive talked to alot of people about IF a scenario like this happened and most of them said, hell yes i would fight. Regardless of military technology, and so on....I think in the event of something happening then we could be somewhat successful in trying to get our country back. People with alot of heart can be successful in whatever they do.

The government has been producing public spectacles for decades to let people know what happens if they try to form anything that might pass as an "organized reistance". What do you think Ruby Ridge and Waco were? They were televised, internationally broadcast morality plays to remind us citizens what happens when we stop being good citizens and start becoming gadflies. Why do you think the ATF and FBI "botched" Waco so badly? Do you really think torturing the children with posion gas, and the final massacre of the children and their parents alike, was a tactical mistake? It was just a little reminder from your friendly neighborhood fascists of what could happen, what *would* happen, when people got the wrong ideas about the best way to live peacefully and quietly in the US.

yOu people have guts. First of all, this is a very daring thread. I would rather NOT SAY anything of how i would handle it, since i may be incriminating myself big time.

Just do what you have to do when you have to do it and keep it to yourself.

i would reccomend searching out an underground cave system that you can get to in a hurry, pre-plan (learn) how to set up air recycling systems (google "sodasorb") make hidey holes within the cave system in case you are ever found out and make sure there is more than one way out. oh and stash food and supplies for the fateful day.

The first thing you might want to consider is learning the difference between "Marshal Law", who is a friend of mine with a degree in Criminal Justice, a wicked sense of humor, and a fondness for Diamondbacks baseball, and "Martial Law", which is a situation where enforcement of the law has been handed over to (or co-opted by) the military.

You might also consider some courses in grammar, since a leader needs to be able to communicate effectively with those he or she leads.

Once we get past the basic requirements of communication, you'll need training in the hard stuff...organization and logistics. I don't know what your current resume looks like, but unless it includes some middle-management experience (or, in a blinding flash of irony, military experience), you probably aren't suited to lead a serious militia.

You then need to organize sources of supply. Having everybody bring his / her family hunting rifle and brace of pistols works well in the movies, but in a real 'situation', you're going to need a unified set of weapons, to simplify maintenance and ammo supply. You'll also need caches of food, water, first aid gear, batteries, and other sundries too numerous to list. You'll need radio gear, and training in communications protocols.

You'll need technical people to keep your gear in working order, and medical people to keep your people in working order...and these folks will need the tools and equipment to practice their craft.

You'll need uniforms (or at the very least, badges) so that you fall under the provisions of the Geneva Conventions. You might also consider reading up on those same conventions, since abiding by them would be a really good idea.

Education in such basic skills as map reading, wilderness survival, basic first aid, intelligence gathering, and small-unit tactics would also be very useful.

Still sound like a good idea to form a militia 'just in case' ? It's not as easy as it sounds, or looks, in the movies.

Well, from what I have been reading, most do not think our government will, or can take our guns. I can't believe people really believe that. They claim it would be nearly impossible, due to the size of our country. I think it can and will happen. They already know who has guns, where they live, and how many registered guns they own.

According to Alex Jones, and forgive my reference, they have urban combat troops training in small town america already, dropping from helo's breaking down doors ect. I have never seen or experienced anything remotely resembling this kind of activity except in a couple of his films. My personal take on the how it will come about is less confrontational. All you have to do is render the guns useless, by regulating ammo. No bullets, no guns, see how easy that was?

Now if a SHTF situation should arise here on our soil, say a few nukes go off in several large cities, say taking out a few refineries, bridges, and major transport routes, the store shelves will empty overnight.
What you have, is all your going to have for a very, very, long while. If you are concerned about survival, get some preps in order. Not three days worth of food and water, plan on a year at minimun, you will require no less than three gallons of water per person, per day; but five gallons per is more realistic. Buy extra canned goods, dry goods, and don't forget barter items, like tobacco, alcoholic beverages, and the big one, matches and candles. Ofcourse there are much better lanterns and flashlights, but, work with what you can afford, you'll still be miles ahead. Don't forget to stock the biggie, toilet paper. I know it's bulky and takes up a lot of room, but, you just can't imagine living without it, can you?

Ammo, will be more valuable than gold. First it will help to keep the wild dog packs at bay for a while, and also, the raiders running in packs stealing and murdering those who have food. Martial law would really be a blessing for those who have taken the time to prep, until they come to confiscate and redistribute your stores, and they will. Bullets will be a great bargaining item, as the supply will be gone. So now is the time to store it, as much as you can, because the prices are going up fast. Some gun shops I know of, have back orders that are on backorder. Get my drift?

About the wild dog packs, all those people in the city are going to let their dogs go loose, thinking Fido can fend for himself. Yes, he can too, and they are pack annimals, and they can smell food from a long way off. They will not fear you. They will work as a pack, sometimes sending a small cute little female in first, who will behave friendly like, tail wagging, begging, while the rest are surrounding you for the attack. You will need a fast action shooter for this scenario. Automatic is illegal you know. Pvc, and lots of grease, and a very well hidden hidey hole, that you can access easily in emergency situations. If and when such a SHTF situation should occur, and I can no longer feed my dogs, I will do the right thing.

Resistance will be most likely futile. Imagine a small town of resistance, and one bombing raid. All over. Take to the hills!

And I am all for getting the government back under control, but, realistically I think we are chasing a greased pig there.

Can't get your guns eh? Well, read this this guy told his neighboors how an economic depression is about to hit, and that he had guns and about a thousand ammo, not a big deal if you ask me, everyone is talking about a coming depression and those who don't are in denial.

They just raided him and told him he was delusional, probably he talked about the NWO, the UN, economic depression, 9/11... everything we talk about here. Doesn't matter that no law prohibits having guns, ammos and talking about the coming depression, they just go ahead and take everything you've got. Back in the days of gunpowder, cannons and muskets, to be a patriot would have been swell...but now, there really would be no contest for any armed civilian militia to hold up against the U.S. effort to crush it...and for anyone really believing the U.S. can't handle its own in IRAQ, it's all a cover for the big fight against IRAN...so stick to your blogs and living rooms, it would not even be worth it.

If anything bad did happen, like bush turning hitler, or even the next dicktaiter, I would merely speak the truth and hurt the beast of a man or woman, then I would let them, as christ did, do whatever they need to show themselves the violent degraded thieves and control freaks they really are, hopefully, over time, the people would tire of there evils and love of them, and realize they all followed a liar, and a perverted soul. And eventually do harm.

Get out of the big cities......Move west and LIVE life. Dont go too far..If ya get to Kali go back 2 spaces. The bigger the city, the more chances you have of getting stuck when the poor people break out of their cages.
