Ok so I'm watching Wideangle on PBS and this episode is called , "The Dying Fields", which is about India cotton fields + suicide and what not.

So the episodes starts with this India chic standing in some nice room and she goes , "Hi I'm bla bla bla and I'm in the Council of Foreign Relations..." WTF !? And it's not like she went on to talk about the CFR, she just mentions it in passing and keeps going.

Perhaps this is the CFRs way of saying, "hey , we produced this episode, enjoy"

I've watched years of PBS and I've never seen anything like this.

On top of that the CFR doesn't seem to have anything to do with this episode nor were they listed as a sponsor for the program.

Question : Why did she even mention the CFR ? Is this like a psyops to get the name out there in a friendly , trusting way ?

I've long known that PBS is the enemy of the elite (and others) since they aren't corporate stooges most of the time. If nothing else I consider this a sign of the times.

If these trends continue it'll probably be less than 10 years before PBS becomes Fox news. Look for a Ruppert Murdoch buyout any day now

edit : OK I just watched about 45 more minutes of the show, still no more mention of the CFR. Maybe they'll mention it again at the very end - either way it seems odd.

More than likely to show that the CFR is actually trying to do something other than to critiscize what the US isnt and should be doing lol. I dont think alot of people in America are familiar with the CFR. Same goes for PNAC. nah IMO its defiently not a PsyOps thing though i understand your reasoning and suspicion for it hence its background and who is in it.

But all in all, its just some publicity stuff it's trying to get recognized to i guess.
