The North Star, Why does it NOT move??

All stars revolve around there galaxies much faster then planets, for example the most nearest stars to the galaxy's center move sometimes at 10,000 KM per second. (History Channel, the Universe)
Our own star The Sun is moving 30 KM per second, and it revolves around it's own axis in 30 minutes, it takes 250 million years to complete one lap around the "Milkey way" galaxy.
