Good S.F. comics...?

...I'm somewhat outside of the mainstream these days...

So can anybody recommend any really good Sci Fi /non-superhero comics...?

Dark Horse publishes a variety of Star Wars comics.
Dynamite publishes a couple Battlestar Galactica that I hear are pretty good.

For something with a little less pictures, you might try Snow Crash and The Diamond Age by Neil Stephonson(they were supposed to be making a made for TV movie of the Diamond Age so Fingers Crossed)

When I think of "good" science-fiction comic books. The type without your stereotypical superhero. I always think of the classic comic book company -- EC comics.

Published in the early fifties, EC Comics published a series of science-fiction themed books that boasted some of the finest artwork that ever graced the comic book page. Featuring the artwork of such greats as Wally Wood and Al Williamson, these books stand out among the ranks of superhero and horror comics that were the norm in the fifties through the eighties. These books still stand out today due to the marvelous art and lettering not to mention the writing.

I always had a fondness for EC comics...

In fact I believe they were the inspiration for the HBO series

The Fax comis covers for that show were often drawn by

Mike Vosburg who also was the original G.I. Joe artist in the 80's...
