Who Defeated the USSR, Reagan or NeoCons?

Many people say that Reagon, by escalating the Cold War, distroyed the Soviet Union because it was falling apart and couldnt take the hammering on the economy.

However, theres another theory, of mine. The USSR, is the embodyment of Ultra Lib. NWO groups and who would stop at nothing to distroy it, NeoCons. They secretly caused unrest by promoting pro-West ideals, sabotaged USSR tech, and probitally in part funded the anti-Red groups. Probitally the most damaging thing was allowing the Beatles (Weird huh?) to goto the USSR, it set off a series of revolution by peace, music and freedom, which eventually lead to the downfall.

Whats you opinion?

Afghanistan defeated the USSR.

There was nothing America did that 'destroyed' the USSR. The empire was reduced. Russia is still the largest nation on earth. They just lost 1/3 of the land they controled under the soviets.

By escolating the pressure on the USSR, it caused econmic backlashes that their society had enough of and so the Evil Empire (bumb bumb bumb ba da dumb ba da dumb) was overthrown.

They will burry themself if they try for that 20 bill by '18. Their econmy isnt strong enough nor is society there able to take that reallocation of funds.
