Researchers have figured out how to give an entire community a drug test using just a teaspoon of wastewater from a city's sewer plant.

The test wouldn't be used to finger any single person as a drug user. But it would help federal law enforcement and other agencies track the spread of dangerous drugs, like methamphetamines, across the country.

Well I guess this could be a step-up for the war on drugs as a whole. Although it's still going to be very hard trying to convict people this way, but at least it's giving an idea to what drugs are being used, and where.

yeah, tell you what, i'll save them the trouble, every sample tested using that method is going to find traces of every drug they can come up with a test for. drugs are everywhere and easily available.

this test serves only one purpose, to make it look as if the gov. is stepping up its war on drugs without ever actually having to do anything, thereby justifying the stupid amounts of money spent on doing absolutely nothing. it's a smoke screen.
