Anyone remember Thundercats?

Did anyone here ever watch Thundercats?
It was my favourite cartoon during my teens.
Who was your favourite character and why?
Mine was Panthro - liked his Martial Arts moves and attitude.

Yeah I used to watch them when I was a kid. Awesome show.

Lion-el was the coolest!

I don't remember them by name but loved the show.

Thunder, thunder, thunder, THUNDER CATS!

All those late 80's efforts: He-Man (Man-at-arms, She-ra, Skeletor) but maddest props to the 70's and Original Space Ghost, Herculoids, SuperFriends... good stuff.

And Biiiiiiiiiird Man!

Ever see the series (early Japanese) Star Blazers? With the Argo and it's Wave Motion Gun? Wow.

He's kind of a given. But more of a recurring Laff-a-Lympics character than Sci-fi hero. The others were the stern, overly serious, grim types. Cap't Caveman is a joke, literally. To this day the whole Laff-a-Lympics concept disturbs me more than anything. A never ending race with fake points awarded each show alternating between "the Yogis" and the Adams Family team. WTF? :shk:

damn, I must have missed it

It was by the same company, and artists... it was basically based around birds instead of cats...(but I guess Thunderbirds was already taken, hehe....) It didn't even make it a full season if I remember right... Took place mostly in space....

Chetara was hott!
