The creatures, normally native to australian waters, can grow as big around as a dinner plate and weigh up to 25lbs. They are growing in population at a prolific rate off the gulf coast, and threaten to devour up native fish populations. It is believed that they can migrate out of their native waters by attaching to boats and hitching a ride. LOL

I don't think this belongs here, as these are known species.

And monster jellyfish? Dinner plate? There are jellyfish much bigger than that.
