I remember the good old days, when we had a market crash, we did it properly, all went manic, had a mad week of selling and we were in the pits.
Not now! We have the newspapers instead of their old 'bust, bust, we're all gonners' with a new, 'volatility' period. The newspapers are sell
outs now, but what I find interesting is that statistical arbitrage goes against the market movement (from some mean), and causes wobbles in itself.
This is not a conspiracy question, its not 'is the system in control of us' in the human sense, rather.....
Are the computers already in control of us?
2 points.
1. If you've already done this, sorry.
2. No aliens in this one baby.....
