Padilla guilty in US terror trial

US citizen Jose Padilla has been found guilty of plotting to kill people overseas and supporting terrorism.

His two co-defendants, Lebanese-born Palestinian Adham Amin Hassoun and Jordanian-born Kifah Wael Jayyousi, were convicted on the same counts.

Looks like this has finally gone through, although this charge was not for the "dirty bomb" case that he was accused of, but rather for "supporting Islamic terrorism".

Apparently he's going to try and appeal the convictions though.
