I’ve recently come across Freemasonry and I’ve been doing some research on it, and I have to say that I’m really intrigued by it.
My main concern is that I don’t have a religion… Yet I believe that there is a Superior Being for certain conclusive, or at least to me,
reasons/actions that I don’t feel comfortable disclosing on the internet. But let us just say some things fell in to place remarkably well with
remarkable timing and fixed/changed my life for the better… The one I’m talking about being the main one but there are other things that have
happened where I remember thinking I was really lucky but I can’t think of them off the top of my head… :-/ Sounds kind of awkward, I know, but
these things have just led me to believe that there must be some sort of Supreme Being? … Or maybe I just am hoping that there is a Supreme Being
for the thought of an after-life… Is it Hope or is it Faith? I think there is a difference there, yes?... Well, my point being is that I don’t
associate with any Religions. Christianity, the world’s largest religion, turns me off. I’m not exactly sure why, but it does, well certain
aspects to at least, but not everything…. So, my problem is being able become a Mason yet not having an adopted religion but still having a belief
in a Supreme Being…
I guess my best bet would be is sit down and read the Holy Texts of the World’s Religions and see if I can find another religion that I agree
with…
How a man worships God is purely his private affair. Masonry is not a religion, but it certainly is about God, since it wants you to affirm your
belief in the Almighty.

Does this mean I don’t necessarily have to have an adopted religion?
