Is our Sun alone, or simply the major partner in a binary system? Astronomers are finding evidence that suggests the presence of an unseen companion to our Sun. Discoveries in the outer solar system are so anomalous that the only viable explanation is that their orbits are being affected by an object more massive than Jupiter; the 'Dark Star'. As implausible as this may seem, the idea of an undiscovered massive planet orbiting the Sun has many advocates within the astronomical community itself. Many astronomers are contemplating the possibility that dark, distant companions commonly orbit around their parent stars.

Nemesis is belived to be the suns companion star, it has an orbit that take 26-30 million years, Now we knwo that our surface beklow the oceans is just as bad if not worse that the surface of the moon. This tells us that we were hit by astroids a long time ago. Take into account that every 26 -30 million years we arnt ment to have a mass excitntion, and Nemesis take 26 -30 million years to pass, its orbit goes straight through the Oort belt (belt of astroids) and it goes back to the sun and does it all again, so if any planets get in the way (like us) they will get destoryed (kinda, more as astroids hitting them).

I am trying hard to catch up to the topic theme here. I have never heard of this before. I did find a site that may have credible source.

i think i heard that the sun is running out of fuel, i mean by in alot alot alot alot of years to come it would of run out, not next week. Apparently Nemesis is going to destroy us, it swings by the Oort belt, rips of hundreds/thousands of astroids, and then the sun uses it gravitaional pull to pull them in and BAM more fuel, make sence ? But whilst this goes on some of the astroids hit us and the moon, mars, basicly what evr is in the way, isnt for long.
