WELLINGTON, New Zealand (Reuters) -- A thief was convicted and fined after being spotted on a video posted on the Web site YouTube.

The man was taped slowly circling the store, stealing a laptop computer, slipping the computer into his overcoat and stepping out of the store in the South Island town of Greymouth, local media reported Friday

Funny. I can see this happening more often with unidentified criminals. It's already been happening with the recorded fights. After this, how many people do you think will start watching more vids on YouTube just too see if they can recognize somebody to turn in for a reward?
