With extremely little media coverage, presidential candidate Howard Dean has won the years first nationally held primary. The voting took place in
Washington D.C. where Dean took 43% of the vote.
Al Sharpton, the political activist came in second with a strong showing in what will probably be the closest he will sniff to winning any of the
other primaries. Sharpton finished with 34% and Carol Moseley Braun came in third with 12%. The reason the other leaders of the party have not had a
large percentage of the vote was because they simply werent on the ballot.
I WILL believe the backing of Gore though, hehe.. Candidacies are won and lost in the media....so yeah, you kind of have to acknowledge it...
Looks like the Dean/Clark showdown is set.... I'm just hoping they get over it and get their butts in gear on a joint ticket, before Bush trumps out
Osama in chains before election day.....
