I think the title of this thread should be changed to "All religions exposed", for that would be more towards the truth.

Yep, that's pretty much the truth of it.

You can roll your eyes and make your quib little comments about my screen name if you want.. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. However, one thing that I have noticed about mainstream Christians is that they attack every and anything that doesn't fall directly in line with what they believe. In that regard, Christians and Muslims have much in common. Also, they consider themselves "experts" of faiths that they have the slightest inkling about.

This religious propaganda video is riddled with lies and false testimony. Mormons are people that are free from sin, and do anything in their power to help, feed, cloth, and support people that are less fortunate. Many of the practices discussed in the video have not be practiced by "Modern" Mormons in decades.

Whaaaat?! Mormons are free from sin? I beg your pardon.

What if the people who are less fortunate happen to be black? Ouch. Oh and the reason why many of the practices discussed in the video have not be practiced by "Modern" Mormons in decades is because current laws forbid them. Oh and i'm not a christian lol.
Some interesting inks on Mitt Romney a "Modern" Mormon lol
The Mormon Church's past blatant racial bigotry is coming under closer and closer scrutiny as Romney nudges up the charts as a bona fide GOP presidential candidate.
Prison is home for black people says Romney
Who is Mitt Romney?
More people against a mormon prez than a femaleor black prez according to polls

Man, get your racist bull# out of here. It's really no business of yours as to what etnicity I am..

You despise a belief system because of your own perceived slight? That's not really fair. However, continue on... I don't think, since you have just shown what angle you are bringing this "truth" from, I will be making another post on this thread.

By the way, the whole "Romney says blacks should be in prison" statement, or whatever... Where is the actual article stating that he said as much? You expect me to take some bloggers word for it? Sorry fella, no can do.

Haha pointing out racism makes me racist? Would you walk through a KKK neighborhood and feel threatened? What if I asked a black person this same question, would his/her answer be the same as yours? GEE could it be that a KKK poses more threat to certain persons? I am racist for asking this? Mormons are just as racist and white supremacist as KKK. It's just that a KKK is more open about their racism and idea of white supremacy and are more violent. So if you think having a prez who belongs to a known racist organisation is a good thing then go ahead and enjoy the civil unrest that it may cause.

Elijio:

You may focus upon the racism aspects of this thread if you like, many do when attacking. I must tell you though that this suggestion is once again against what most "Modern" Mormons believe, and that sir, is that everyone in the eyes of god are equally available to be part of heaven. If not -everyone- was available to be part of the faith, how can you -possibly- account for the amazing growth in numbers of the Mormon faith and beliefs? Even the Judaism faith allows "outsiders" to become part of their society.

Once again you (meaning all readers that agree with his statements) are blindly following what you have heard on "You Tube" rather than truly experiencing the religion yourself.

I bid you good day sir.

I am not critical of the morman people, I beleive in all of humanity being worthy of respect and admiration. I have no level of understanding for the morman leadership, a people that manipulate, lie, use, and mentally ensalve their own families and friends, as well as their community as a whole. My sister married morman, her husband is not morman any more like his family. I have learned quite a bit about the subject. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the mormon people that still consider themselves mormon are completely un-aware of the fraud that was done to them by the founder of their religion. It is not because I am "old school" catholic, or favor christian ideals, or froms of worship. I happen to find a great level of disgust with the notion of countless people's lives being governed by rules that were totally made up like those of children at recess for any given game. Maybe other religions have had dark times, but to be completely made up, and the fact of that to be known , is gross neglegance. So if I am clever enough to just fill a book with random half truths, and happen to get some followers, I deserve to be quantified with the rest of the worlds religions as being valid. I think not. We have plenty of nuts now adays claiming divinity, why not follow them , if it makes no differance? BECAUSE YOU KNOW THEY ARE LIES!!!!!!!!

This is getting ridiculously funny now. Mormons are increasing in number, this is true. They are increasing in number among white Americans though...hehe. Sigh... due to a presidential candidate being a mormon the church and its beliefs
have come under closer scrutiny in recent weeks. The racist nature of the mormon faith has been much talked about on the networks covering the presidential race. Have you been living under a rock?

I live in newyork, work in newyork city. I have been involved in countless racially charged incidents. To this day, I cant believe the worst of them happened in Utah while visiting the inlaws. WOW! I dont know if it was because they were morman , or because they were simply a little racist. a tad. an incling, just a bit.

I am white, married a mexican girl , and have a half spaniard, half mexican daughter. This subject, while interesting and all, never left the mention of their mouths. It was like we had two heads. Maybe I'm not use to people making such a big deal of what to me is not that CRAZZY, but I have no doubt that racism is a big part of that particular mormon family, the only one I really got to know.

As far as a wole, the morman people are good willed, just not my cup of tea. I cant immagine what they think about my wife and kid man. makes my blood boil, but then again it sucks more for them.

I hear you on this. As I stated previously, my side of the family is non-Mormon. We are the side that goes to the bar for drinks, watching college playoffs, while the Mormon side is shopping up Gatlinburg, TN. (True Story - sickening amount of Jesus there)

Although I can definetly say they, and none of the Mormons I have ever encountered, are in any way "racist". They and I have many Cuban, African, and Spanish friends (live in FL), and many of these groups -are- in fact Mormons, and are just as welcome to the temple as any other. I am sorry you had to deal an "extremist/hardcore/overbearing/insert here" type family that may have given you the wrong impression of the Mormon failth/belief. This is not true of many Mormons.

Personally, the only thing I really hold against Mormons is when they caved to Federal Pressure and outlawed Polygamy. First off, so many people believed that this was the way it had to be for them to get into Heaven. And so it didn't die. It went underground where it became perverted because it had to hide in the shadows. And it became what it is today in so many towns. The amount of cruelty to children that has arisen from this irresponsible and cowardly act is immense.

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

The Mormon Church is the most prosperous of American religions and is preparing to focus that considerable wealth on an unprecedented campaign of international expansion, according to a cover story in Time magazine on newsstands this week.

Time correspondents claimed "unusual cooperation" from the hierarchy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in researching the article, which gives what may be the most accurate financial snapshot of the church to date: a minimum of $30 billion in assets and annual gross income of $6 billion -- more than Utah's state budget this year.

According to the article entitled "Mormons Inc.: The Secret of America's Most Prosperous Religion," the church last year brought in $5.2 billion in tithings alone from its roughly 10 million members, who are asked to give 10 percent of their income.

If the Mormon Church were a corporation, that yearly revenue would place it midway through the Fortune 500, a little below Union Carbide and the Paine Webber Group, but bigger than Nike and the Gap.

www.lds-mormon.com...

and lets not forget the enormous amout of real estate that is owned by the LDS church, which is tax exempt.

The story details just a few of the church's expansive holdings, including the world's largest beef ranch -- the 312,000-acre Deseret Cattle and Citrus Ranch outside Orlando, Fla. The ranch's land alone is worth $858 million.

The church also owns America's largest producer of nuts, as well as Bonneville International Corp., the country's 14th largest radio chain, and the Beneficial Life Insurance Co., with assets of $1.6 billion.

what they are essentially doing is, taking 10% of their followers income and using it to expand their business, and then they send missionarys out to gain more members (or clients if you will) to expand, just like a business would do.
how so many people get duped into this is beyond me, i've lived in salt lake my whole life, and have see it first hand. now thats not to say that mormon followers are scum, because most are very nice but they seem to have been duped, and if so many people are so weak that they need the crutch of religion to make themselves good people great, but i can see it for what it is.

How can a religion be modern unless its made-up. Mormons are at the very line that separates religion from science fiction. After crossing that line you reach into Scientology's domain.

The only way to get rid of these so-called modern religions is to remove their tax exemption states and watch them crumble.

My Brother and Sister in Law, Neice & Nephew are Mormons. My good friends Ma, Pa, 2 boys, 2 girls are also mormons. Really lovely people. Yanno, they have never once tried to convert me. Very private people in that way.

The only thing that bugs me when I visit is I have to bring my own coffee.

I will say, I admire how strong they are with their faith. Yanno, no alcohol, no drugs at all, caffiene, cigerettes etc and they are so family orientated. Every spare minute they have, they spend quality time with their kids. They are busy at church too, organising games nights etc.

How shocking could it possibly be?

Hmm the only concern I had and I asked my Bro... where are all the coloured people? Is it white only? He laughed and said all were welcome and gave me this Bro sly look.
I said great...be there with my clan next week!!!

Elijio, you still haven't provided an article stating that Mitt Romney made the comments you claim he did. I am sorry, but something that a blogger stated is just not legit in my opinion.

To the original poster, the name was Yeshua bin Panthera. Check out "The Bible Fraud" by a Tony Bushby for the reference. In fact, read the whole book a few times...it'll shake ya up. You'll learn so much, too.

I hung-out with the Mormons for a few years, and learned as much as I could from the inside. Yep...cult. Of course, I've come to the same conclusion as have many others, that they're ALL CULTS. To me, religion is a cover for a bigger conspiracy...to rule the world. Modern-day Roman Empire by another name.

It's likened unto Lord Of The Rings: One religion to rule them all, one religion to call them all home. Didn't anyone glean that from the movie ?????

One could even glean that from the classic Danger Mouse cartoons, by looking at Baron Silas Greenback. Anybody got a brain ????

One thing that bothered me about the Mormons, is how strikingly similar their temple ceremony is to a Masonic initiation. Excuse ME !!! But I don't need someone to wash me all over...I can still do that for mydamnself. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, talk to an ex-Mormon. I don't need special underwear with all those little stitched symbols to remind me of the fact that I don't need to have unbridled sex with just anyone I please...I think I'm old enough to figure that out on my own, thank you.

The best documentary on Mormon's was the episode of South Park where the Mormon family moves into town.

They summed it up best. "Dumb-Dumb-Duh-Dumb-Dumb-Dumb-Dumb-Dumb-Dumb-Dumb-Dumb-Dumb-DUMB!"
