Wild Dogs Attack News Staff, Injure 3

MILWAUKEE - It was like a scene from a movie: four wild dogs, viciously barking and attacking members of our news staff.

It happened late Wednesday night just after 11 p.m. outside the east security gate at TODAY'S TMJ4 on E. Capitol Dr. at Humboldt. The round up took almost two hours.

This is a pretty bizarre story. Apparently these dogs were abandoned near the news station. They were obviously not too crazy about people, more than likely from treatment they received at the hands of whomever abandoned them.

Or maybe they just don't like the mainstream media?

This has local talk radio, I'm sure TV and the newspapers will soon follow, discussing whether these types of animals should be banned or their ownership restricted.

I see a lot of dogs while pursuing my profession every week. Mostly I don't give dogs a second thought, but I have to admit certain breeds make me uncomfortable.

Sounds like one employee really used his head and kept the dogs interested in him until help arrived.
