CHICAGO (Reuters) - An analysis of a now-discredited South Korean stem cell line suggests the scientists may have inadvertently created the first human embryonic stem cells derived from human eggs alone, U.S. researchers said on Thursday.

The bit i found interesting, is that they can make the egg fertalise without a father, a virgin birth if you have one. Opens up a question with regard to christianity that these things are possible.

Fertalisation without sperm is possible according to these studies, i say big up to the roman catholic religion, and possible proof that a virgin birth can happen.
