Actually so am I busy, so I decided not to debate JT anymore. And if Einstein is correct then:

Ummmm yea ok...but you can still answer the one more question right? Cause technicaly its not a debate or dispute but, just me asking about the poem.

All right I started this thread for alex jones. I read a certian titor thread because I saw he had commented on it I wanted to get his attention and purpose the first post idea and While I tried to comment on that thread..I think it was too old or locked..so I started this one...Has AJ stopped commenting here? Anyone got any info?

What I have always found interesting about the claim to civil war (and why I have not discredited that yet) is because I can see a trend of civil unrest. Now the claim was, to my understanding, that civil unrest would begin in 2005 but the "first shot" would not be fired until 2008. So I do think it is still early to say this prediction has not come true.

On a side note: I was searching around aimlessly tonight and I came across stories about John Titor's mother on the net having gone public. I am not able to find the exact links now, I do not remember exactly what I was searching for and my searches now are not taking me back to the results I had. Anyway, I found it very interesting that Titor's "Mom" who is named Kay has a lawyer named Larry Haber who is classified as an Entertainment Attorney.

An Entertainment Attorney, I find that very suspicious.

John Titor's Predictions are all coming true. Titor was only aware of the summer Olympics. He wasn't referring to the winter Olympics. Now to the information about the Civil war. When Bush returns as president after another stolen election, Bush started to seed the civil war in 2005. First he called the US Constitution, "A God damn piece of paper!" Later he had passed the Patriot renewal bill in 2005 with freedom striping laws. On October 17, 2006 President Bush sign the Military Commissions Act which allowed secret arrest, secret torture, secret trial, and secret execution! Look, the seeds of the civil war have been sown! This year the economy is in free fall, the dollar is being dump! The value of the dollar is dropping like a meteorite falling to earth! The writing is on the wall. Our way of life is over right now! Bush is going to bomb Iran. The USA is now the most hated nation on the earth. I would say the shooting will start in 2008. I wouldn't write off John Titor story off yet. Alex Jones show will set you straight on the facts. Main stream media are nothing than a bunch of Propaganda of the US government to put you to sleep. It time to turn off the TV and turn to alternative media. Also the Police brutality is skyrocketing off the charts. We are in big trouble! We are in the police state right now. Bush now has declared himself as above the law along with Vice President Chaney! Bush is dictator of the American Republic Empire and the emperor has no brains!

A Soldier’s Winter


The day before it wasn’t snowing. The trees are strangers, leering, disapproving in the ash of winter. My world, my life, my wandering path. I pray that God’s eyes may once again gaze upon me and remind me that I am still His child.

Winter has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the approaching season. A soldier’s thought is only to remember how we have laughed a thousand times and sheds a thousand tears for no reason.

It seems like only yesterday that I was young and free. I became a soldier like my dad many winters ago. Though countless seasons have passed me by and I don’t remember them all. But I know I must have lived them because so many soldiers still call and say, “Do you remember when?” I do have glimpses of how it was back then, with all my ambition and objectives. But here it is the winter of my life and it has caught me like a mission with no perspectives.

How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did all the soldiers go? Where did my youth go? I remember seeing older NCO's and officers through the years. I am thinking that those soldiers were years away from me, and that winter was so far off, that I could not fathom it, or imagine how it would be.

I’ve lived through so many conflicts, so many operations, so many maneuvers, and so many funerals. I’ve seen the happiness and the sadness that has come with each. I’ve seen accomplishments, I’ve tasted success, and I’ve experienced failures. Through it all my buddies, my family was standing beside me. But winter has come so fast, I only have the memories of the years that have passed.

They say a soldier’s day is never done, when the last boot is shined, when the last order is signed, the last inspection is made, the last salute has fallen, we will hear the evening cannon fire, we will hear the bugle play, we will see old glory folded, and know winter is on its way.

Each day now of the coming season seems to be getting shorter and shorter. Sunrises and sunsets seem closer and closer together, winter is approaching much too fast! All my skills, all my training, all my abilities as a solider can’t stop it; all we can do is have memories of the past.

Now I enter into this season of my life. Unprepared for all the aches and pains that I feel, the loss of old friends, the loss of old soldiers who’s winter caught them off guard, and the ability to perform the duties of a soldier are very hard.

But I do know that though winter has come, and I’m not sure how long it will last. This is for sure when it’s over; it’s over!
Yes, I have regrets! There are things I wish I hadn’t done, things I should have done. But indeed, there are many things I’m blissful to have done. It’s all in a lifetime of a soldier I once was.

So, if you're not in your winter yet, let me remind to you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life, do it quickly! Winter comes so fast! So do what you can today, because you will never know if this could be your last!

God has made us no promise that we will see all the seasons of life again. So live for today, and say all the things that you want to say. So your buddies and your loved ones will remember what you say every day. “Being a soldier is a gift. The way you live your life is your legacy to those who came after you. Make the most of it.”

Live it well! Winter is on its way!

I recieved this on myspace in September 2007. I know that Titor said somthing about "A soldier's Winter" I gave a copy to all my friends in myspace. I also printed two copies and hang my on the wall. Also I made a copy for my father. He said, "It's a tear jerker" He was in the Korean war in 1953.

Ok I'm John Titor and I will warn people about a Civil War to...confuse... everybody so that when the time is right you 'wont' know how to prepare for it! Yup makes a lot of sense to me...not! He warned because he 'knew' that it will help. There is no point in giving a bunch of incoherent events for a time line which will lead the reader to a wild goose chase.
A smart-er more responsible soldiering attitude would have been just to take a nap and forget about wasting time on the internet on some chat room.
No Civil War = Hoax

I believe John Titor was a fraud. You are taking the soldier's word for it that he had never heard of John Titor when he wrote the poem. Soldier or not, I don't accept anybody's word as proof of anything.

You know what would convince me? A police report from the Rochester Police Department regarding a stolen IBM 5100 in 1975. That's the year John supposedly retrieved it from, and in 1975 the IBM 5100 cost between $9,000 - $20,000. Now somebody is gonna miss that. Even if an employee (his ancestor) gave him the computer, he would have had to report it stolen just to save face with his boss. Was one ever reported stolen?

Any kind of hard evidence like that would get me interested again. Otherwise, I'll stick with my profile of John Titor as a hoaxster with a bad attitude.

I believe John Titor was a fraud.

So do I.
(And I don't understand how anyone could believe he wasn't, but that's beside the point right now.)

Furthermore, and this is the real reason for this thoroughly insubstantial post, I believe he/she is likely a member (perhaps even a contributing member) of this forum.

The detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed throughout the USA,
the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses,
the location of "safe facilities" for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest
the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool),
the issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic armageddon.

A cashless society is NOT neccisarily a moneyless one there are just no notes or coins, just credit and debit cards. making your claim of there being a loophole here false IMO

If you just type in A Soldier's Winter, Larry Cluck, in google, you'll find it. I read about it and just typed in the title, without knowing the poet's name, and I found it on the first hit.
