ATS should hold a hoax contest to see who can come up with the most believable video footage. Then we can compare it with other hoaxes to easier distinguish which ones are definitly hoaxes and which could possibly be the real deal.

Best example I can come up with is the WTC so called ufo hoax video. I work with CGI myself and I can tell you that the saucer in the video clip is NOT CGI. Even hollywood couldn't produce CGI of that quality and especially blend it in with the type of camera they were using.

This seems like a barely disguised attempt to get a 911 post outside the 911 forum?

Nice try though

IMHO we get enough hoaxes here without holding a contest. I come here to find the truth not waste my time with BS fiction.Sad fact is I have enough BS to weed through to find that truth. You wanna dump more on? I don't think so.Good luck getting a good reception to your idea.

A contest to see who can't "deny ignorance" best? Um, not my cup of tea but thanks for the warning... this isn't a hoax is it?

[HOAX] Cheers, [HOAX]

Chorlton, looks like this person hasn't even posted in the 911 forum.

Recently some had a similar idea - to produce fake videos and pictures as a means to 'counter-attack' the hoaxers and the people doing the drone pictures.

I believe everyone reached the conclusion that it's not really a good idea.

Not to mention that some loon months or years in the future might take the hoax and claim somewhere else that it is real.

Not a good idea at all.

I agree....during the years ATS did April Fools jokes on the site I was not yet a moderator but got into a playful mood. I posted something about ATS resolving to some cia network. I posted some fake and malformed ip addresses and included a real link to some DOD login page. Now this was all done as a playful April fools joke but a few people that had something against this site used MY post as proof that ATS was some cia run site. lol what a joke....

Absolutely ridiculous!

I regret that day....

Anyway not a good idea....

I just wish at the end of each year, sometime around Christmas, the mods/admin put a big link to what they thought was the stupidest hoax of the year. That would be funny.

That way, the next years hoaxes might not be so stupid, for example that time traveler hoax.

Just F.Y.I. that video has been debunked. It was created by the "Sci-Fi" channel, and the woman in the helicopter is actually the girlfriend of some famous band member. That band member wrote in his blog about his girlfriend being an actress for it.

www.rense.com...

www.blondie.net...

So, either you have very very little experiance in CGI, and you don't understand how easy it is the fake "handeld camera" resolution's, or how easy it is using a "deshaker" plug-in with VirtualDub. Or.... you just wan't to believe for the fun of it.

I'll tell you what though, in this life of energy, truth is far more fun than fiction.
