You know what? God bless the knuckleheads like them and the guy with the lawn chair and balloons. The sorry statement is that in our paranoid, ubercautious post-911 world, they are regarded as a detriment.

Bah...we need the crazies to make us smile. If that's a bad thing...well, then the terrorists won.

But then again if we did watch the crazies 9-11 would not have happened

Interesting, that some people find it acceptable, and actually push for people to be arrested, fined, and ticketed, for merely being 200 feet away from a vessel. While doing absolutely nothing provocative.
Just being nearby.
People are scared of their own shadow, and are bringing about the very thing that they say that they do not want, by demonstrating their fears and tolerating these actions of their civil government.
They actually condone and ask for this treatment.

I just find that absolutely stunning, and further proof of their acceptance of being dominated by anyone in authority.

Truly amazing.

It wasnt too long ago there was an advisory on Fox saying to be on the look out for skin divers. Now this. I beleive "they're " trying to plant the seed that we need to be careful of people on our shores.

Also, there are quite a few prophecies out there that claim that the final straw will be the "sinking" of a ship, with many lives lost that will start WWIII very shortly.

The "seeds" are being planted, the brainwashing, the paranoia about the sea and who's in it will grow with the coming weeks. This is either a Black Op or its some schmock playing around, but nevertheless- its a convenient bit of news.

My 2 centavos.

Seems like some people are coming down pretty hard on this guy. He's obviously just an artist doing his thing. Yeah, maybe it would have been more legal to take it out elsewhere, but then again, imagine if his studio is right outside the shipyard. It would seem like a hassle to have to tote it out of town just to get it in the water and test it out. Plus, for all we know, they may have been trying to tow it somewhere that was a little less trafficked, and they just hadn't had it out very long.

I'm betting that when they were caught next to the cruise ship, they just saw it as a great photo op. I mean who doesn't some times break the rules when they see a good opportunity. Once, at the Titanic museum, when nobody was looking, my friend and I reached over the railing and touched "The Big Piece". Sometimes you do stuff just to say you have done it.

As the NYPD Commissioner put it, they were just "three adventuresome individuals" getting into some "marine mischief". No harm done. Give these guys a break.

I agree with WeatherGuru never in the field of human history have so many been so scared by so few.

The FOX propaganda machine reigns supreme, what yesterday was considered as al normal activity today is a terrorist one. And why is it that so many say they want a free and just society yet pander to the propaganda, the FBI dont want a network of informers but a nation of snitches.

As far as a ship attack type incident is concerned may I say that such events did not get the US to fight in ww1 or 2 so why should it today, or are we talking about another setup like Pearl Harbour.

You know Hitler got all his people spying on each other under the guise of security, patriotism etc.
