This allows the M200G to glide over terrain at 50mph, powered by eight of the company's Rotapower rotary engines.

This, I'd like to see.

It looks barely stable enough to hover. I can't see this thing being very controllable at 50 mph. Heck, I can't even see it reaching 50.

I'm not sure about takin' a ride in that thing 'cause you never know if those engines turn off all of a sudden and ya end up dead. I'll ride one that is really approved by the experts and has a greater chance of me livin', (hopefully this doesn't start a new way for people to do drive-bys
).

That's true. At least with a helicopter you have some chance of surviving because there's an autorotation with a helicopter wing that offers some bit of residual lift. You have a chance to glide to a landing. If the engines conk out in this thing, though... WHAM!

Anyway, the SEC sued the guy in 2003 for selling unregistered stock and basically taking 40 years to develop only a couple shaky prototypes. The guy definitely has a lousy business plan and anybody investing in his company would have to be nuts.

Cute
They don't look to sturdy though....wouldn't want to take one out over heavy traffic - you probably wind up crushed by a speeding mack truck...heh.
