Divers suspend Minneapolis search

Divers in the US city of Minneapolis have suspended their search overnight for victims of a bridge that collapsed over the Mississippi river.

Looks like they've every one who could be alive, now to just clear the dead i guess.

You never know, there could be someone trapped and the rescuers couldn't hear him/her/them.

I truly hope they rescued everyone who survived.

Some years ago a bridge collapsed in the north of Portugal, in Entre-os-rios, but it was at a time that we had rain for several days, making the rivers overflow, although that river did not.

Several vehicles were on the bridge when it collapsed, killing around 60 people. For some days there were exhaustive searches for possible survivors and/or bodies. A bus was found 120m from the bridge.

Some bodies were found in Spain, after traveling almost 30km down the river and 200km on the sea.

Only 19 bodies were found.

With this in mind, I suppose that some bodies from this Minneapolis accident will never be found.
