Talk it over with Johnny, SO, and the rest, and think about it!

I myself, am always looking for innovative ideas to contribute positively to the forum.

You guys always 'shake' up the forum for answers.

How bout we shake you GUYS up for just one night?

I've always respected your 'radio' decorum. You've handled yourselves in a proper way.

Let's shake things up guys!

Set up an atmosphere...let the posters come to YOU. Period.

Perfect; open letter regarding the state of ATS and its future goals.

The larger this site becomes the harder it is for you to get to the nitty gritty without upsetting someone.

Do you have a plan for "keeping it real"?

PS:

Hi ATS,

I continue posting on this site because the large majority of people here are interested in the world they live in as well as the world that exists outside their experience.

I can understand why threads blatantly advocating/describing illegal activities are discouraged, but to censor us brutally defeats the purpose of this public forum, in my mind.

I hope and urge you reconsider your position on "illegal activties" discussions.

I am talking about a drugs thread that was started in the "current topics" forum.
I understand that ATS cannot take a stand either way and drugs are not really a concern, but to ignore such an important and large part of life is nothing but blinkered. The immediate closure of a thread states a posture on the subject.

Should a member actually discover something that would compromise our security, or even be any where near real, then censorship could be expected, but to shut a popular and entirely civil thread down on the basis that "illegal activities" are being discussed contradicts what ATS stands for, surely?

I very much enjoy this site despite this childish, pro-western slant it seems to be taking on very quickly and hope that it will eventually take the lead in free speech and radical ideas, as it should of done many years ago.

I am not hopeful as money talks.

All the best,

Mark Bowyer

"All of these core rationales can easily be applied to topics about illegal drugs, computer hacking, hate crime/racism, and child pornography."

All related obviously. Maybe there is a market for those hacking, peadophile rascist junkies. You could call it: Really Below Top Secret (Deep South).
