I did not write what was said in that link.... It is not my fault that Steve Quayle had that link in his website and even "familymatters" had in their article the date July 30th 2007....

My bad i guess, i thought you told me once you parents took you out of Cuba when you were 3 years old.

Anyways, apparently you left before the big changes began to happen, so you are one of the older Cubans who left before the changes happened around the early 1960s?

Well, i guess the Cubans that keep leaving the island are also all nearsighted, and unable to see the forest for the trees because they decide to come to the U.S. instead of staying in Cuba.

No DG, unfortunately it appears you did not stay in Cuba long enough to see the wonders of true Socialism, and it seems that you were also one of the rich kids who left the island early, but i could be wrong.

Did you leave during "operacion Pedro Pan" (Operation Peter Pan)? That program happened right after the "revolution" started, and was done during 1960-1962 when some 14,000 Cubans kids were flown out of Cuba, most of them were from rich families.

You're right, there is no point, but in the end the sad reality will be that the 52" HDTV you have won't work with no electricity. Do you know how unprotected and antiquated the power grids are folks. Imagine the whole NE with no, I mean NO electricty. You think New Orleans was a nightmare, you better be ready. Half dozen strikes in specific targets and then hit a few populated areas in the heartland. It might happen in 3 days or 3 years, but it is coming. Don;t live in fear, live with vigilance and hope that the next ground zero is not in a town near you.

This is not about fear mongering, trust me, if they wanted to do that, and you actually knew everything, you would not want to leave your house.

UMMM .... no. I believe what people are saying (I can only speak for myself) is that we have to look at this information CRITICALLY and CROSS check it before we make postings that suggest there will be a massive terror attack in the US within 90 days.

We also have to look critically at the source, in this case Juval Aviv. While he has a very impressive background, he was also promoting a book on how to protect yourself from terrorism WHILE SAYING THERE WAS AN IMMINENT ATTACK coming. No doubt we should listen to this guy and take as much info as possible, but we also have to look at the fact that he was DEAD WRONG (thank god).

esdad71, Well if you recall the BLACK OUT OF '03 all of NE was without power. I was in NYC when it happened and remember quite well the 10 mile walk I had from work back to my apt. because the trains weren't running.

I ALSO remember how cool people were during the whole thing. I think you under estimate people on a vast level by saying that that they are bad as a group. During the days after 9-11 I remember being very moved by the this city came together. There were people standing in line to help recover bodies and get things back in order. People were giving blood in record numbers. Saw more genuine acts of charity and generosity in the weeks after 911 than ever before.

Guys, look, here's the deal.

NO ONE is debating whether there will be another attack. I think it is almost a 100% given there will be one. But this senseless bickering gets us nowhere!

And just because there is a probability of another terror attack doesn't mean that we all have to stop thinking about what we read and ASSUME that just because a guy worked for this research group or that government, that there isn't some deeper agenda going on.

I live in Vegas and in the news about a week ago they stated that homeland security is beefing up their anti terrorism here. So maybe something is going to happen, or maybe they aren't gonna take chances. Who knows....how long more till the 90 days is up?

Well, they dont really know in Cuba whats really happening here- chances are they do and dont beleive it. Maybe they think its Castro propaganda and continue coming although, i havent heard of any Cubans rowing themselves silly lately to "touch" land here- maybe i'm wrong. I may not have been there to see a lot but i sure had family left behind who suffered enormously and i know all about it. Oh, and by the standards of those times, i was born to a priviledged family who had everything- but remember, the lord giveth and Castro tooketh away everything we had.

Thats pretty specific yet vague. It doesn't make sense to know that much but nothing more specific.
How do they know they're already here? Well for them to know that, someone must know someone who knows THEM. DUH.

This seems to me that this is some type of GUT FEELING scare tactic. So we line up dutifully behind our leaders and stop asking questions.

And if it doesn't happen within 90 days, do we breath a sigh of relief? No of course not, because now it was put off or something like that so now it's another 90 days, and on, and on.

Again it may or may not happen, all I know is I have NO intention of changing my habits in ANY WAY.
