That sir, looks like meteor to me. I have seen quite a few meteors in my time here, and to me it looks like a Taurid, although it does seem a bit fast for a Taurid, but that one is a real stunner by anyones standards!

It's not a meteor - look at the video with it full screen:

1. It curves - meteors do not curve!
2. If it was a meteor, the clouds would be back-lit - they are not.
3. You can clearly see a black object preceding the light - meteors produce light mainly in front of them, due to the air being compressed.
