Nice video footage of Meteor over Croatia

Before i see a thread regarding a great ufo sighting in croatia, i thought i share this nice footage with you Maybe slightly offtopic, but at least it's a fine reference for what is not our new alien overlords.

wow, impressive - the 1st vdeo i actually saw on youtube today but not seen the others before. They didnt look real but i suppose they are? I don't speak croation lol so they might not be intended to be real?

Very nice - a classic bolide. too bad it was cut off by the building in the foreground.

OTOH, they really should stop letting that announcer pick his own clothes....

Thanx Fry. Quality is Job-One as always. Visually stunning. That one seemed about to "come apart". One can see the "flare" or rather flares. I hope this turns up some more places on vid and stills. Our atmosphere isn't very "thick" but it's thick enough to catch this. The lighting in this vid was great. It would have really been cool to see it live. Were there anecodotal reports of how loud it was?

That sir, looks like meteor to me. I have seen quite a few meteors in my time here, and to me it looks like a Taurid, although it does seem a bit fast for a Taurid, but that one is a real stunner by anyones standards!

It looks like a Roswell weather balloon.
I'm just surprised that they didn't confiscate ALL the footage like they did with the 9-11 missile crash into the Pentagon.

I don't see how it could be a weather balloon, to me the idea of it being a meteor is more plausible.

1. It curves - meteors do not curve!

2. If it was a meteor, the clouds would be back-lit - they are not.

3. You can clearly see a black object preceding the light - meteors produce light mainly in front of them, due to the air being compressed.

What was it then?
Its seemed rather bright didnt it? hmm.

It was probably a jet using its after burner... perhaps a missile, but that is less likely IMHO - the black object seems a bit too big for that.

Of course it could also be a "UFO", but the above two suggestions are much more likely (Occam's razor).

Pretty sure it is a bird or a kite.
