When will we colonize Mars?

2010? I doubt it, I'd say 2015, maybe in 2010 first human to walk on mars...

I'd like to leave this diseased planet, but if I can leave then so can the ones who create the #ty enviroments we all have to live in it, thus we will just be spreading this out to the rest of the universe, I myself would just leave behind humanity, whatever happens to me happens.

but the problem is not people that do not want to know it is their effect on those wanting to learn that concerns me most.

Since Bush is pushing for some habitation of Mars, I think there may be a sinister agenda.

He pushed for the war in Iraq. If more war is to break out on Earth with the possibly of complete annihilation (spelling eludes me), wouldn't it be nice to have an alternative place to go? Let's hope this is pure speculation as a worst case scenario.

Structures or something that looks close to plans for structures appear on Mars suface? at least to me. So were not going as it were for the first time but really going back to pick up were we left off, unless of course we decide to Nuke ourselves again. Listen to Pakistan and India talking about Nukes like conventional warfare, NOT but they have no knowledge of what it really can do, as Japan does.
Moon I feel has on it structures we built as well but have forgotten as a myth called Atlantis, when we did things which lead to our destruction.

No colonazation of mars will hapen in our time.

Look we have an international space station but
no space station on the moon. If we had a space
station on the moon astonots/kosmonots could stay
there longer because of the moon having 1/6 of
gravitational pull.

Once a base station is set on the moon...trips could be
made other than robots to the moon.

Keep in mind that this is the closest Mars has been to earth
ever in our time.
