(AP) WASHINGTON While defending the right of the U.S. to detain and question terrorism suspects, President Bush is clarifying rules about their treatment. He signed an executive order Friday applicable to both the military and the CIA imposing explicit limitations on interrogation techniques and conditions of confinement.
The order prohibits acts of violence comparable to murder, torture, mutilation and cruel and inhuman treatment, reports CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller.
