& going backwards from now to the beginning you end at the creation of Adam

the earth is a lot older than 6000 years , there is no need to say it is older if your hoping to cast doubt on the scriptures . because that factoid proves nothing

how long God took in creating the heavens & the earth isnt given & the time between the beginning of the creative acts to point where God formed Adam isnt given

God rested on the seventh day - this "day" started over 6030 years ago , when its going to end isnt stated in the bible

what also isnt stated is how long the other creative days timespan was

this is something often overlooked

And you got this "accurate" info of the Biblical world starting exactly 6030 years ago from where? i Have read many sources, and christian experts can come to no agreement. Ranging from your 6030 years (which is the shortest i have ever heard claimed) to 10,000 to millions of years. Please share your sources with us, or did you have some "divine intervention?"

Brad_cf, god rested on the 7th day... and THEN you get the story of adam. humans are created, god rests, humans are created AGAIN.

and humanity is about .... 500k+ years old...

Thing that bugs me about that is examples like the Grand canyon.
Its obvious that had to have taken thousnads and thousands of years to make. Im sure there are other good examples of age.
