Wow....thanks for the links. Video clips #1 and #3 look awesome. Pretty
acceptable download. ( I have Verizon FIOS 5 meg down ) The image quality is amazing. Now perhaps we can get some decent UFO clips going forward of those fuzzy, spinning, wiggly things.

One observation though. Clip #2 purports to show animated simulation
of lunar landing. Boy that is one big-honking lunar lander. How on earth
do they plan to launch such a beast. Looking at the scale between it
and the astronaut, it seems giant. I can't image a rocket bigger than
Saturn 5.

Regards...Kinda Kurious

And here is a torrent (takes a while to download 3.48 GIGA-byte) :

thepiratebay.org...

First live broadcast in High Definition from space!

NASA Commander and Astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria gives us a small tour of the International Space Station, originally broadcast live on the Discovery HD channel.

TS stream (MPGV/a52) in 1080i. Playable with e.g. the VLC media player.

I'm don't know much about this stuff but I find it surprising that a lot of tiny little tv stations have gone HD and offer HD clip downloads for years now, but is NASA really just doing this now? And off topic a bit...Why do they send these multi billion dollar(i don't really know how much $ they are) shuttles into space with a $200 camcorder image being sent back to earth with the astronauts waving to all of us on earth? Can't they at least install a nice HD cam? Hell, even a pro SD cam should suffice.

I can't watch any of these videos. I'm on a mac, any technical info I need to know?

I've downloaded the WMV decoder for quicktime so that shouldn't be the reason. Any ideas?

I really want to see what NASA has footage wise, but I can't see it.

Thanks for the help.
