you sure told him a thing or two sardion2000, you stood up for all the wii fans out here in ATS,you do make a point about the sensor bar being set up unproperly since it had occured to a few friends of mine during gameplay. The only thing that bothers me is the reports of wii mote straps flying off, since it never occured to my system, maybe they didn't tighten the strap or just didn't bother to put it on at ALL.

But again the Wii Motes are less accurate than a drunk blind man so the game sucked.
You friend obviously didn't have the Sensor Bar setup properly. I had to get a new one and it changes things dramatically because all it is using is Infrared sources to orient the 'mote. Having stronger IR sources wider apart to fit your TV properly makes a HUGE difference. But then again, seeing as how Nintendo can get a little short sighted, they probably designed the thing for a Tiny TV in a broom closet of an apartment in Tokyo.
I have a friend who had played it and told me it was worth the purchase so I'm thinkun' about buying one as well so I could have a cool resident evil game to play late night.I think you get to aim the remote as a weapon and shoot off all the spanish speakin' zombies which are great to hear since I speak spanish as well .See ya later man cause I've got to go visite Mary Jane before she rips my spidey-suit.

Hopefully soon though! Anybody played the new release of Resident Evil 4? I imagine that would be awesome with the Wii-mote!!!
Your right about the game being awesome , I played it when it came out for the PS2 a while back and it was pretty cool with all those hispanic zombies roamin' around. I heard the wii version has added more stuff so I'm planin' on just buyin' it to keep. I saw a cool new controler on the nintendo website which is formed by adding on the wii mote and the nunchuck with this new piece. Thanks for the post Oni-Kage, and I hope you get to play the wii.

Res 4 was a really awesome game, so this added use of the Wii-mote just kicks it up a notch.
When did you get your system , was it when it first launched, cause the newer ones have a thicker strap so it won't fly off. Or you could just buy another one at a game store near you so you can enjoy your wii experience. I'd like to know what game you're currently playin' bigsmoke.

my wii experience is good but some times its hard to move the wii remote and it comes out of my hand.
You're right about uTimesplitters bein' a cool game(I've played all of them) , I'm also planin' on buyin' the 4th game from the series which might come out for X-Box 360 and the PS3. If those of you who got the wii and want to try out the game you could rent it for the gamecube and play it on your wii. I'd like to hear more comments from my fellow BTS members so we could continue this discusion.

Right now I be playing some of the old gamecube games that came out a while back so I won't have to waste money on the newer games. The game I'm playing now is Timesplitters 3 which has a good multiplayer mode
I know what ya mean zerotime, I was hesitant at first but I quickly got the money by sellin' 2 paintings I did so I gave it a try and ended up lucky since mine didn't have any problems yet(hope it stays that way 'till the next system comes out).If ya don't buy it you won't miss out on much , I'm currently playin' old games from the PS2 and Gamecube as well.

Microsoft fixed one of them but the other they would not fix because my friend opened it to paint it. haha. so the whole defective problem is holding me back right now. I have never owned a console that has broke before and I really don't want to start now with one that will cost me 400 dollars.
Yeah man, I'm still a game freak, even though I'm alittle older now, games are meant to give ya a good time so what better way to play than with your best buds !! I always bring my buds from college after we've finished classes to play games like SSB Melee and all the other cool games that came out. If only the wii had the same graphics as 360 or PS3, I'll have to agree with ya on the 360 bein' more better than the PS3, I've got both systems but I only play with the 360 'cause of the game selections. I've gotta go now, see ya tommorow.

The Wii is a great lil machine,my best mate has one for his kids(and of course us grown up kids)and its fun!
I have never laughed the way i did when a group of us had way too many beers and wines and played golf..laughing thinking about it now.great fun with friends.
thats its strong point, you will want to play with mates-the graphics are not next gen enough for me,and its a shame as with 360 visuals it would be unstopable-but it makes up for that with game play and of course nintendos great selection of games to play
