From TV screens watch all over:

Today on Fox News’s Your World With Neil Cavuto, National Review Online columnist Jerry Bowyer attacked Michael Moore’s movie SiCKO and its positive portrayal of the health care in countries such as Britain and France. He argued that national health care systems are breeding grounds for terrorists because they are “bureaucratic.” “I think the terrorists have shown over and over again…they’re very good at gaming the system with bureaucracies,” said Bowyer.

Makes me wonder if there is an agenda here?

For who?

- Higherups who want universal health care have a bigger agenda?
- Fox for either exposing this OR for trying not to get universal health care?

There are a few 'agendas' that could be working here.

Thats just classic....

I'm not totally surprised by that, coming from FOX. Can't remember the last time I saw anything newsworthy or well reported on FOX, ever. Borderline tabloid rubbish, like it's sister channel Sky over here.

I suppose the IRA, ETA, UVF et al all sent their guys to work in the NHS before deployment? I assume all the insurgents in Iraq actually received their basic training at Great Ormonds Street Childrens Hospital?

Stands to reason, obviously. Bureaucracy breeds terrorism. Explains the US Federal Government then.........

Eight people arrested in connection with failed car bombings in Glasgow and London all have links with the National Health Service, the BBC has learned.
BBC source

Seven are believed to be doctors or medical students, while one formerly worked as a laboratory technician.

A suspect in hospital after the Glasgow attack has been named as Kafeel Ahmed, who is believed to be a doctor.

A man arrested in Liverpool on Sunday has been named as Sabeel Ahmed, 26, who trained as a doctor.

So that must mean that because 8 people in the NHS conspired together (lets not ignore the fact they were ALL Muslim and foreign), the other 1.5 million or so who work in the NHS must all be terrorists too!

Oh no!

Run for the hills....

This is utter garbage,

Mind games. Keep in mind most of the people watching FOX are uneducated and easy to reprogram. So now they will link Health Care to terror, so any presidential candidate or people talking about health care will be associated with terrorists in the back of the simple mind. You don't need subliminals, this is how it's done. Watch FOX and learn.

Hmm.

I'd like to see his figures on how the following groups were employed in Universal Health Care

List of Designated Terrorist Organisations

Wow...just wow.

Talk about straw clutching. And this gets broadcast on National TV?

easy to re-program.... I could not said that better myself!

Living in Canada does that mean that just because I go to my doctor I'm consulting a terrorist?

Well, Fox do come up with some absolute crap but this is nothing more than an excuse to attack Michael Moore and to put forward the most ignorant excuse possible to not have Universal Healthcare in the US.

I lived in England for the first 29 years of my life and miss not having to worry about going bankrupt over such a thing!

Most hostpitals in Britain have private health care facilities bolted on the original buildings. Do you really think that these doctors couldn't have worked for private healthcare?! And who would be more of a target? The wealthy or the poor?!

ARGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ignorance spreading to the ignorant

That is an excellent point. Many NHS doctors do Private work at the same time, so saying this is because of universal health care is absolutely unbelievable.

They might as well come out and say "Being in the UK makes you a terrorist" as they are attacking one of our national institutions.

What next, double decker buses make you a suicide bomber? After all, one of the 7/7 bombers was on a bus you know and the 21/7 bombers attempted to blow up buses too.

The U.S. military and defense industry is a big, bloated, bureacratic beast that can be and has been manipulated by terrorists for their own purposes. Perhaps supporting the U.S. military and defense industry is equivalent to supporting terrorism.
