Heavy Floods Today In Edinburgh.

was driving from the main road coming from the Forth Road Bridge earlier today, and the rain, and the amount of it was UNREAL.

about 3 miles of traffic had to stop and a motorway (freeway) had about 3 inches of water on it, and at one point 2/3 feet. total standstill for about an hour as 1 car at a time people drove through it.

We had the same across the bridge in Fife. Scary stuff. Never seen anything like it last for so long. We live up a hill and the garden was absolutely flooded. I feel so sorry for the folk down south if they're getting it like that all day every day. I would have taken photos too but I was trapped in the shed for about an hour. The thunder was tremendous though.
