Doctor Who Season 30 News/Rumor ** POSSIBLE SPOILERS/MAYBE RUMOR **

Lots of potential news for next year. First BIG rumor for the Doctor is that he is going to have a change up of companions. Freema is still going to be in the show but will be taking on a role similar to that of Captain Jack Harkness. She will be fliting in and out of both Doctor Who and Torchwood as a recurring character. She will apparently not be in the XMas special as her place will be taken up by Kylie Minogue.

David Tennent and Russel T. Davies are also rumored to be leaving after Season 30, but not all is lost however as Jane Tranter, the BBC's head of drama insists: "Doctor Who will be around on BBC1 for years to come.”

This is a very plausible rumor and would not be surprised either way. I hope they get Derek Jacobi to play the Doctor HAHA. They did something similar with Colin Baker he was in one episode and then he becomes the doctor(I don't know how far the interval was in between though and they were much different parts, but both were timelords)
