This is a strange one, and is very difficult to describe, but here goes anyway!

When I was about 10 years old, I had a bizarre day-dream of sorts. I remember I had had a telling off for some reason, and was sat at the top of the stairs, staring at the banister railings. As I sat there, the banister railings began to move as though they were passing in front of me at high speeds. Slowly the image of a miniature conveyor belt began to manifest itself, surrounded by factory-like walls. Objects were sat atop the conveyor belt; small cups and saucers. The cups and saucers travelled along the conveyor belt until reaching the end, dropping off, and falling into a garbage compacter.

This ‘day-dream’ or whatever it was instilled a ‘sensation’ that I can only describe as ‘fat-lip’. It was as though my bottom lip was being inflated with the ‘feeling’ from the rest of my body… leaving me with a completely numb body, and a hugely inflated bottom lip – which funnily enough ‘felt’ incredibly thin.

Yes the above makes absolutely no sense but, from time to time, the above process happens to me. Only the other day I was sitting on a bus listening to music, when I saw cups and saucers and my bottom lip began consuming the rest of my body’s feeling…

Very strange. Had anybody else ever incorporated these kind of dreams into reality?

I find this pretty interesting because it reminds me of own experiences I had forgotten. I do remember the fat-thin-lip phenomenon and I associate it with my consciousness/soul no longer being fully attached to my body & physical senses. It is accompanied by some type of oscillation/vibration throughout the mind/body/being and perceiving other things than are present in the normal physical surroundings. Would you say this might be an accurate description?

Yes! I'm genuinely surprised that somebody else is familiar with the fat-thin-lip phenomenon! If the same thing happens to others then maybe it is some kind of higher perception. In my case though, the bizarre imagery manifesting itself in the forms of cups, saucers, conveyor belts and garbage compacters is a little confusing!

Thanks for the reply!
