The nature of this joint Syria-Iran move demonstrates that the region itself is on the verge of being overtly hostile to Israel and the United States.

Im sorry some of you feel that only Israel has the right to defend themselves, but other people do too. They may be arabs but they are humans as well.

Nobody is saying anything against "Arabs" but against Islamic extremism...
When the regime of Iran, among some others make statements about the destruction of Israel, and even the U.S. apparently some people think "we should all take these statements as a joke or someting"....
If Israel makes those incusions into those states which have attacked them in the past and have been talking about attacking Israel again, Israel is merely saying "we are here if you think of trying anything"...
Why would a fatwa be declared by high ranking clerics in Iran accepting the use of a nuclear weapon if they were not intending of using one?....

You are using selective quotes that were misconstrued. How did america now also become threatened with destruction? Its was The zionist government. Nothing to do with destruction of Israel.
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - October 20, 2006 - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday threatened any country that supports Israel, and said the United States and its allies had "imposed a group of terrorists" on the region with their support of the Jewish state.
The Iranian leader also called the U.N. Security Council "illegitimate," ahead of the planned circulation of a draft resolution on Iran next week.
Diplomats have said they would seek limited sanctions on Tehran for its refusal to suspend uranium enrichment - a key process that can produce either fuel for a nuclear reactor or the material for a warhead.
Ahmadinejad's comments came a day after Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's strongest words to date about Iranian threats. Olmert warned that Iran would have "a price to pay" if it does not back down from its nuclear ambitions - hinting broadly that Israel might be forced to take action.
Speaking to tens of thousands of supporters at a pro-Palestinian rally in the capital, Tehran, the Iranian leader addressed Israel's allies: "It is in your own interest to distance yourself from these criminals... This is an ultimatum. Don't complain tomorrow."

You also are selective in fatwas too. You ignore the Fatwa issued by the Iranian cleric that said they will not use nuclear technology for weapons of mass destruction.

You always believe things you wish to hear that are convenient to your argument but when it comes to actual truh you ignore it.

Its the same thing with 9/11. Osama Bin Laden said why they attacked yet you will still deny that Israel was not the reason but yet everything else he said is taken as fact.

Its funny how all these supposed declarations of wanting a war come from Israel and you dont see these things printed in arab newspapers at all. If they were declaring such things it would be everywhere and not just in Israeli news media.
Ahmadinejad's helpfully explains this. Speaking to
the US and Europe at the same rally, he said,
"You imposed a group of terrorists... on the
region. It is in your own interest to distance
yourself from these criminals... This is an
ultimatum. Don't complain tomorrow... Nations will
take revenge."
Millions take part in al-Quds rallies across Iran
Israel is led by terrorists, says Ahmadinejad
TEHRAN: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday called Israeli leaders a “group of terrorists” and threatened any country that supports the Jewish state, as millions of Iranians took to the streets for anti-Israel protests.
“You imposed a group of terrorists ... on the region,” Ahmadinejad said, addressing the US and its allies. “It is in your own interest to distance yourself from these criminals... This is an ultimatum. Don’t complain tomorrow.” “Nations will take revenge,” he told hundreds of thousands of supporters at a pro-Palestinian rally in the capital Tehran.. Ahmadinejad also called the UN Security Council” illegitimate,” ahead of diplomats’ planned circulation of a draft resolution on Iran next week.

Iran's President says countdown for Israel destruction has started

Tehran - Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday said the world would witness the destruction of Israel soon, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported.
Iran arab-parast president seeks destruction of Israel
Jun 5, 2007
Iran's arab-parast president said yesterday the Lebanese and the Palestinians had pressed a "countdown button" to bring an end to Israel. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who triggered outrage in the West two years ago when he said Israel should be "wiped off the map," has often referred to the destruction of the Jewish state but says Iran is not a threat.
]"With God's help, the countdown button for the destruction of the Zionist regime has been pushed by the hands of the children of Lebanon and Palestine," Ahmadinejad said in a speech.
"By allah's will, we will witness the destruction of this regime in the near future," he said. He did not elaborate.
Iranians march in anti-Israel protests
Tens of thousands of Iranians have joined anti-Israel protests in support of their president's call for the destruction of Israel.
Iranians staged multiple protests in the capital, Tehran, and other cities such as Mashad in Iran's east, holding banners carrying anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian slogans.
"Death to Israel, death to America," read many placards.
The street demonstrations are being held as part of annual al-Quds Day (Jerusalem) protests, first held in 1979 after Shia Muslim clerics took power in Iran.
Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad's call for Israel to be "wiped off the map" has triggered a sharp international response and widespread condemnation. Ahmadinejad made the comments yesterday at a conference in Tehran entitled "The World without Zionism." Following the remarks, Israel said it considers Iran "a clear and present danger" and Washington said the comments highlight U.S. concerns about Iran's nuclear activities. Several countries, including Great Britain, France, and Spain said they would summon their Iranian envoys to demand an explanation.
Prague, 27 October 2005 (RFE/RL) -- Iran’s President Mahmud Ahmadinejad yesterday cited comments by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic revolution, when he declared, "As the imam said, Israel must be wiped off the map."
